Leading the fight
against Moyamoya disease UK
We are aiming to increase awareness of this one in a million
disease across the UK and bring much needed support
to families and children suffering from this rare condition. We are working with the NHS to increase knowledge and training to find earlier diagnosis.

The Lucas Brand Moyamoya Foundation was founded by Luke Brand & Danielle Eyre after losing their 8 year old Lucas Jay Brand from Moyamoya in September 2023.
We are the only charity in the UK raising awareness and supporting people and families affected by Moyamoya disease.

Nottingham Tandem Skydive
On Saturday 8th June 2024, 7 of us will be taking part in a tandem skydive in Nottingham. This will be Lucas’ 9th birthday and our first without him. Our tribute to him is that both Mum and Dad will be in the clouds with him. Currently taking sponsors. They can be made via our just giving page.

The Full Monty
On 30th March 2024 Lucas’ Dad and his closest friend will all be braving the nude in our first fundraising event. Along with a brilliant Soul & Motown performance and a resident DJ the night is sure to be full of laughter, dancing and a stunning finale. We will be hosting an auction for some signed sports memorabilia and prizes for both the raffle and a crazy game of bongos bingo!
